My lessons are done via Skype, but even in that setting, Matt makes the lessons fun and engaging. For me it’s the perfect balance of having fun and learning a lot quickly. Read More“Matt has been an awesome piano teacher for my grandson! Athletic 10 year olds are often hard to motivate and Matt has done a wonderful job of holding his interest for the past 3 years. He accomplishes all the basics of reading music and theory in a personalized way and makes learning fun by teaching students to play songs they like and by allowing them to chose some of their own music. He is very patient and creates a stress free environment by letting students know it is OK to make mistakes. I’ve been amazed at my grandson’s progress and confidence to perform in front of others. I highly recommend Matt as a motivating teacher!”
